Dental Veneers

Veneers are porcelain shells that mimic the frontal appearance of teeth. They are usually placed on the upper front teeth, changing their shape, size, appearance, and length. These can conceal and rectify broken or chipped teeth, misshapen, and permanently stained teeth. The dental process of placing the veneers is done under local anesthesia.

The enamel cover of the surface of the affected tooth is removed, made rough, and the veneer is placed with cementing material. Soon after placing it, UV light is focused on the veneer to get the dental cement to harden fast. Usually, a set of veneers are placed on maintaining consistency in appearance.

Single Tooth Implants

Sometimes, a single broken or malformed tooth can ruin the show! In that case, we recommend placing a single tooth implant to recover your lost smile. The implanting process takes several months, but in return, you get a permanent artificial tooth. The implant specialist will operate you under local anesthesia to surgically open the gum at the site of the missing tooth.

All remnants of the old tooth are removed, and a titanium implant is placed there by drilling a hole in the jaw bone. After that, the gum is stitched back and is given the time to heal and osseointegration to take place. This can take up to six months. Then the implant is exposed, and an abutment is added to it. Finally, a custom artificial tooth made of porcelain, called the crown, is attached to this abutment to complete the procedure.
