The East Caribbean Conference’s 6th Quadrennial Session

Theme: Obstacles A’plenty: Overcoming is Victory.

It is my pleasure to invite you to the last Holy Convocation and the Sixth Quadrennial Conference Session of this administration under the theme Obstacles A’Plenty, Overcoming is Victory.

We invite all of you to worship with us from August 6-13, 2022. Join us in your churches via live stream as we worship the Lord and conduct our Church’s business. Delegates and delegates-at-large will attend in person at the Oldbury campsite for these meetings.

Our convocation speaker will be the dynamic and divinely anointed Pastor Don
McFarlane, former President of the British Union. I assure you it will be a time of spiritual refreshing, preparing our hearts not only for the business session, but more importantly preparing us for Jesus’ coming. Let us be in a position to be elected by God to be citizens in heaven.

Here is a brief overview of the week’s program schedule:

• Sabbath, 6 August, 2022: Sabbath school, Ten minutes, Divine Service with Don McFarlane
• Sabbath Afternoon service–A Mission Driven Church, with a special interview featuring the retiring President of the Conference
• Sunday through Wednesday, 7 -10 August: Morning devotions (6:30- 8:00 a.m.) with Pastor McFarlane
• Sunday through Tuesday 7-9 August: Evening Devotions (7:00 – 9:00 p.m.) with Pastor McFarlane and featuring exciting Mission On the Move exploits in our zones.

THE BUSINESS SESSION (AUG. 10-13, 2022)

• The Opening Ceremony will launch at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 10 August, 2022. This service will be streamed.
• The business session will continue on Wednesday (7:00-9:00 p.m.) but this session will NOT be streamed. So please pray for us.
• Join us again for the devotional session on Thursday, 11 August 2022 with Pastor Bertie Henry of the Caribbean Union, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. This service will be streamed. Join us from wherever you are.
• The business session will continue throughout all of Thursday (9:40 a.m. through 9:00 p.m.) but these sessions will NOT be streamed.
• Join us again for the devotional session on Friday, 12 August 2022 with Pastor Toney Mapp from the Tobago Mission, beginning at 8:30—9:30 a.m. This service will be streamed. The business session for that day will continue from 9:40 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. but these sessions will NOT be streamed.
• On Friday evening, 12 August beginning at 7:00 p.m. you are invited to listen to another exciting presentation by Pastor McFarlane. This will be a premiere, so you can join us on the ECC web page.
• Finally, on Sabbath, 13 August 2022 our Celebration culminates with Sabbath School, and Divine service which will feature the ordination and commissioning of four (4) of our pastors.
• Sabbath afternoon, at 4:00 p.m. we will host the Installation of the new
  administration, the directors and coordinators, and the new Executive Committee of our conference for the ensuing quadrennium. The services on Aug. 13 will be streamed.
